Lady Longhorn golfer returns to play in the Weiss Cup

I graduated from Santa Rosa’s Montgomery High School in 1999 as the third top recruited golfer in the nation. Playing for the University of Texas, the Lady Longhorns ranked in the top 3 of the NCAA Division 1 Championships four years standing. I graduated not only with a degree in Kinesiology but was a top ranked national player receiving All-American and Team MVP honors. My top finish in college was winning the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, shooting 67-72-73 and setting a couple of UT records.

In my last semester of college, I competed in the grueling LPGA Qualifying School and earned tour status. I played on the LPGA tour for 3 years, competing in national and international events. In 2006 I qualified for two majors, the Women’s British Open and the McDonald’s Championship.
